Hi,
Bought my mag today, great reading and pictures. Thought the feature on the Mark 1 Cooper S was very informative. I had spoken to various mini guru's about the Mark 1 Cooper S numbers on the engine block. Most people said that the engine block should have little "a " like the ID Plate 9F/Sa/Y12345, however in the magazine quote-
* Note:- in relation to 9F/SA/Y or 9F/Sa/Y is that the engine block tends to be stamped with the upper case and the ID plate with the lower case.
It sounds like some may have had a small "a" and other may had a big "A".
Anybody with Genuine Cooper S Mark 1 motor?
Great to be able to see photos of a ID plate and other genuine Cooper S stuff.
Great reading, hope they can do similar feature on a Mark 2 Cooper S.
