how's about some measurements? :)

the mirrors i have are different to both yours and bens...

is there a practical position for it.. ie.. distance from the surface of the mirror to the driver's eye..

mr cush, might i interject...

you seriously have to keep the other mirrors on astro. dont take the old ones off. it would be perfectly excellent!!!

so you would ahve a total of 3 (or maybe 4) external mirrors add that to the cushchrome, and you're on to even more of a winner!!!!

cush... why don't you sit in your car and look at your guard where you think they should go, get your missus or whoever to keep the spot while you get out and have a look... if it doesn't look right, get them to move it till it does. Then get back in the car and see how it looks. get both angles right, drill some holes.

and a tip for adjusting them, put your head against the panel behind the mirror and adjust it till you can see the drivers seat. then next time you get out of the car and walk past it, make finer adjustments.
