Hello guys, I have seen a few complaints about the new Mini stuff in this magazine, I am sorry but did agree at first, i did this for years whilst being in UK then thought some nice bloke (Craig) went out of his own and brought the Mini Mag back to Aussie so we can alll read about our cars and cars from Aus, the New MIni stuff is going to be a way that Craig can pay the bills give it time a BMW will be advertising in there which in the long run will mean more money and more garatine that will be a Mini Mag around for years to come. I have to say that in a few years time these things will be gone not like the classic, so grin and bear it and hey learn something from the magazine and the articles, they whole team have done a great job and we should all be happy that we once again have a Mini Magazine dedicated to Australian Mini's

WELL DONE WATTO AND TEAM

One very very happy camper

Scott And Dana

Now where is my Money (LOL)

Went into my local newsagent and they had two copies (wasn't expecting to find it).

Half way through it now, leaving the second half til bedtime.

Haven't seen any tech tips yet - my only "complaint" - hopefully they'll be in the back half.

Well done Craig.

Yeah I do, and most of them come from you Doc! :D

I was giving constructive feedback for Craig who is probably quietly monitoring this thread. I think the mag is great and good to see ausmini rate a few mentions in his editorial and links pages.

I'll keep buying it for sure.

My girlfriend works in a newsagent and brings home all the mini mags she can, she found this one on the shelf and thought i would like, which ended up being the first Aus mag i have had a chance too read.

Its great too see a mag about the Aus mini's, can't wait till the next issue,

I was thinking exactly the same thing - there is plenty of technical meat on here that could be articleified for publication, it'd be easy to give Watto a technical section which I thought it was sorely lacking. We could almost have a non-formal partnership to provide technical and user driven content

Watto, do you read this?

I picked it up at the Mini Experience launch at Bundoora......lucky I happened to be going that way that day!! {I NEVER seem to find out the dates for things like Minis at Cooper or Northern Mini Tour until too late!}
The mag is very good for a first issue {I import niche magazines from all over the world as a business}, so I have no doubt it will continue to evolve and improve. Whether anyone likes it or not BMW Mini IS a part of the scene and it would be more detrimental to the mag to ignore them, so I applaud Craig for including them. It's the BALANCE that's important. Personally, I'd love to see some articles on the rarer models and one-off minis, such as the specials, racers, etc. down the track.

As a side note, in regard to Mini Magic....it felt TOO much like a "greatest hits" compilation than a dedicated mag with fresh articles....was that the case?? I though it must have been an offshoot of Fast Fours or something similar.
