 Post subject: passenger side door help

my passenger side door wont open from the outside. any ideas or tell me how to fix it would be greatly appreciated,

BUGGER .....

Take the door card off the inside of the door (from memory remove the two part trim around the door handle but leave the handle assembly there , and the window winder) and you'll see there's two rods that join the internal handle to the mechanism at the door jamb . The adjustment of these rods affects the inside and outside handles and how they open the door . Best advice I can give is to wind down the window and adjust the rod (there's nuts either side of the collar where they go into the latch area , just loosen them a smidge and then lengthen or shorten the rod a bit each time) slightly , a couple of flats of the nut each time , till you can open the door from the outside . It's been almost 20 years since I've played with clubman door handles so can't give any more details I'm affraid other than it should be in the adjustment ....
