I'm doing a quick (driving not flying) trip to Sydney this weekend. Down on Friday - meet with some people Friday night and probably again Saturday Home again Sunday.

Any wreckers that have Minis that will be on my route? Coming down the Pacific Hwy to Quakers Hill area.
Wife doesn't know my plans yet  so it will have to be a "Oh look there's a wreckers I've heard could have some Mini's"

brunzwreckers. has a clubby i know the owner, not excatly owned by the wreckers and also has a clubby van. they are friendly and proobbly will help you out.

it is just after you go through the road works for the new highway been built. you'll go past through a roundabout (left to brunswick, but go striahgt ahead), just come out into a 60 zone then a 90 zone then 100 passed another exit for brunswick. take the lnext turn off the highway and you'll see it if youdon't go back onto the highway.

if you miss it but see it you'll be able to take the left left turn (is a exit, but no merge lane from memory) of the highway into thyagra and go down the old highway to the wreckers.

give me a pm and i'll tell you in english.

P.S: nothing special really about them and they are the only place near me where i can get spare parts so don't be greedy.

this one has an owner but they work near there

the van is like a tent but does have an engine

also these are there as well - minus the moke shell in background.

Scotta74 posted that picknpayless at Kings Park has a few mini's at the moment (normally they don't have much left on them though). Scott's place, Dr Mini's and my place aren't far away either. We should set a time and rock up there to say hi. The wreckers is in Tattersall Rd off Sunnyholt road and probably 5 mins or so from Quakers Hill.

haha, i tried picking the bug off of the screen lol. but pick and payless have nothing in the way of mini's. if you did want anything you'd have to fight the spiders for it. last time i went they had two clubbies which were in horrible condition

David (wombat) isn't sure how much time he'll have, but plans to ring me on Saturday when he does. Most probable is a meet-up somewhere and head to Scott's to stickybeak at his nearly completed mini sometime in the afternoon.

If he still wants to go to Picknpayless, maybe we meet there, then head to scott's. Given we won't know til last minute, it will have to be a ringaround via mobile phone on saturday itself. I have Doc's, Gaf's, and Scott's numbers.

If anyone else wants to head along, you'll have to PM me your number.
Cheers

It was great to meet up with a few of the board members. I can now put faces to the names Dr Mini , Gafmo, NurseMini, Kevin_B, Scott and Sports850. Sorry I couldn't stick around a bit longer on the Saturday. I have shifted my ideas about Sat Nav systems - especially in a forgein city :? It took me 12 minutes to get from Castle Towers Shopping centre to the Dr's place and ¾ hour to get back  Shrowgrounds Rd was solid stop start all the way - and guess where they all were heading

Coffee and cake with Sports850 was very nice and I've learnt that I'm not working under the most adverse conditions
