My user name is and allways was minifreak1.
Ive been into minis since 1996 when i first bourght my first mni for $450 and then spent around $12.000 on it getting it to a ok standard.
this one was a 66 deluxe.
this mini got hit buy some nuff nuff revrsing out of there drive way and it went to heven.

I then started a new project witch was another deluxe 67 i think...this was bourght for $6.500 ..i spent over 12.000 on this car as well and it was my pride and joy but sadly it also got hit buy a 4x4...thus going to heven as well....very nasty

but am told third time lucky so ive now got a much newer shall still checking on its year witch i got of ebay ....for $960.

was allready undercoated but ive since sanded it back and re undrcoated my self.
and at present its all rolling on new gear...and waiting just to get some new metal into the front floors and a bever panel fitted and one outer sill as well and then new paint.
ive had to slow down on this car as im exspecting my first son next month.
I love minis and this site as its full of know how and good advice.
i look forward to chating to you all.

Hey Brien,

I hope that you enjoy your time on ausmini. Check out the Members Mini Gallery and be sure to start your own thread and keep us all updated with what is happening with your mini's.

Don't be afraid to ask questions either - it's amazing: the more I know, the more I know I don't know.

Cheers, Nick

Hi I'm Andrew, and from the Geelong area. My username is bluebrik.

My current project is a 66 morris, blue with a metallic pearl roof, pretty hot 1100cc motor. It's not far off completion! :D
And just recently picked up a 71 morris ute! Not sure what the long term plan is with this one, my wife seems to have claimed it as her paddock basher!!!

Heres a pic of my old mini, some of you may recognise it...its was shortened by 26 inches.

I'm Andrew but everyone calls me Boo (please don't ask why)
I've just bought a 71 MINI K with the burst proof doors, she needs some work.
I am 16 and this is my first car. my dad reckons that my grandparents brainwashed me in to Loving MINIs

You just had to ask didn't you.

there could be three reasons, the first is when i bought a new mobile, the plan had unlimited TXT for the first month so i spammed my friends with messages of BOO!, the second could be the fact i kept going on about a character from from a game called Boo the Miniature Giant Space Hamster and
Third could be that i have a wonderful ability of being able to sneak up on people (despite the fact i am quite tall) and shouting BOO! right behind them

i just love white cars, and how when you use a flash you cant see the paint chips and rust spots . it really needs a spray, or at least a lot of touch up, and the front seats need re-stitching. Infact there is a lot this pic doesn't show!

Hi I'm Paul. I don't currently own a Mini, but am planning to buy one as a project car in about a year, so figured I'd start doing my research now!!! I found this site a week ago and have already learnt heaps!! I'm a bit of a mechanical newbie so will be asking lots of questions once I buy something.
