My first car was a mini deluxe( some 30 years ago),one night i decided to go for a driving lesson up to what we call the common, they weren't roads they were dirt tracks ,anyway to cut a long story short it was too rough for it and it ended up blowing a front bag so for a quick fix we blanked off the rears and converted the front to dry, well let me tell you it was the worst thing i had ever drivin in, the bloody thing used to just bounce in the back and ride hard in the front,so my experience would suggest ,don't bother just have one or the other.

Had a proper squiz at the mini today and what i was told about being 50/50 is untrue....this thread is null and void as it is completely dry and I should just look not trust what others say.. another lesson learnt.
