Hi ,has anyone ever bought Original cooper s dash vinyl in australia or abroad for that matter?? Does anyone know the name of it,or does anyone have any for sale? The closest ive seen is MG black but its no where the same as orig..thanks for any help!!

There's a couple of different versions of MG black, one is fine grain and supple, the other is coarse and a little stiffer. Neither come too close to the original as it lies somewhere between the two.

So the original stuff is unobtainable., be alright if they bought it out again which i doubt, I don't really wont to use the mg stuff but might have to!!!!

If someone wants to send me a small sample I'll try all of our suppliers to find something very very close.
You'll be surprised how many black vinyls there actually are :wink:

(Working at a Motor Trimmers has its ups) :)

I'd be interested in what willy digs up, I am lucky in that mine survives in better than good nick( hooray for the cold weather in taswegia).

The fine grain mg black is pretty hard to go past as a seat material however. It is a pretty nice vinyl, with a nice feel to it.

Minispares UK and Newton Commercial both sell rolls of vinyl for the dash (top and bottom) that might be a closer match....
