 Why would you buy it if the clutch / gearbox is fine?

There's a few reasons, main one is.... NO one can say if they are any good. I had the same problem with Fuelstar's. I bit the bullet, so to speak, and just went and bought one. And the Fuelstars worked great for over a year now, no problems.

The motor's coming out at the end of the year, would rather try such a thing on the clubby, and hey it's gonna be fun! Some people told me my engine would explode with a supercharger  ...still going strong. 8)

Try something new.

Bloody scary!! The bid's up to $22.50 for a measly compression spring.
Hmmm!! Got some old datsun inner valve springs out in the shed - might modify em and flog em off

Check out the sellers previous sales via his feedback, he is always selling the springs. So I wouldn't bother about getting into a bidding war over it.

Also check out the two Cooper S' that he is selling at the moment. 8)

Hi

hubbie fitted one to our daughters clubbie, she reckons it was great. She had a hard time with the clutch before which was new and properly adjusted, just that she is small and her leg was not strong enough lol. Anyways easy to fit and it worked. I suppose it is a individual thing you either like it or you don't.

The logic behind this spring doesn't make sense to me. The clutch return spring if set up properly will have a much stronger effect on returning the clutch arm to the right position due to the effect of leverage.

This sounds like a gimmick, a band aid for other issues and not a fix at all.

my 2c (no I haven't tried it, just think about it, you too will see the lack of sense in it.)
