The standard pre 1980 gear set is OK for 3.44 diff - with 12" wheels but I want to keep the 10" wheels. Apparently all other rations don't work or are for 12" wheels. To change to a 3.44 with 10" wheels before 1980 and standard gear set they used a different speedo which had a different serial number - now if I could find one of those

You have a choice of Mk1 S, Mk2 S (oz), Mk2/Mk3 UK S.
The last one is available new from Minisport, but probably cheaper to bring in like I did.
Also, a 140KMH Moke speedo marked
800 (turns/Km) is very close. I'm putting one in the van with a 3.44.
