Well, burglary isn't really spelt that differently to buggery, but Mick has made a pledge to keep ausmini buggery free!

On my car me and my dad went 50/50 on all costs.

I am not allowed to ever sell my car though. It has to go to him, for half it's value if I ever wanted to (I don't).

Next project, is to be done to his Mini, I'm paying for all the mods and parts, but the original price of the car was done by him.

Seems fair, and I'm happy.

PS I've worked just about every weekend for nearly 4 years now, to keep paying for my car, mostly. Much money spent, much time invested....It's all worth it. Becasue in then end, it's a mini, it's all cheap. Some people complain about spending mony but really, compare the price of parts for your mini to other cars out there and it's not much. Fun car, looks great goes great for 10 grand, that you WILL look cool in? Bargain IMO...ok I've crapped on enough... :D

I have a surplus of Australian currency. Its there to save me if I ever lose my job, but comes in handy when dealing in cash.

My wife and I were smokers and I realised we were each paying over $100 per week on ciggarettes. I reasoned that if I gave up smoking then I could spend that money on building the mini I want. I did that although its not a restored mini and now needs a paint job, its a very quick car.

My wife also gave up smoking and used her money to buy and build computers.

Now a couple of years later, that extra $200 a week is just lost in domestic consolidated revenue and to buy any thing is a struggle. But its all up front as my wife and I dont have secret money or secret deals. Most transactions are by computer banking or eftpos and therfore plainly visible, and frankly, at any one time there would be lucky to be twenty dollars in the house in cash.
