Gaf, I've got a heap of piccies for these dashes as well, PM me your email address and I can forward them onto you if you like.

Once you find out dimensions etc could you please let me know as I'm keen to make one as well for my car once it's finished.

Who wants to invent the wheel
The main thing is they are two differnt lengths (left and right) it seems. also do they both extend out the Same Depth.
Additional it's not just a rormal box but have some slight angles.
I did see one att MDU last year at the Rally club ouside but didnt take my tape meassure and unfortuntily didn't have my camera.

I know it's only a miner question regarding to two box but's not like its fitting pistons or thou's on a disc. Just thought if someone had some dementions

I purchased this from a bloke in QLD he got it professionally fabricated and claims its an exact rep of the works one. I could measure it up i guess, but I'm not entirely happy with the fit myself.

Well the original works type dashes were purely an utilitarian item. They werent ment to be pretty or to fit in perfectly, just to be light, sturdy and locate the gauges, switches, tripmeter, lamps, stopwatches etc. conviniently for the driver and co-driver.

Looks awsome - whats the car?

Gafmo are you gonna source a Halda trip master ($600+) or twin master ($1000-4000) and jaeger clocks etc too? Oh and you'll need old aviation pea lights too.
