Yep....kind of have to agree, you'll have to move to Geelong Smokie

Anyway, here are some pictures of the day. Zoom in on the first pic and have a look at the timing chain........now is that loose or is it loose.......one well worn chain there.

Here we have a water pump - complete with rust and crud.

Here we are, standing around and trying to look busy. That's Dylan with his 'other end' pointing towards the camera (very dangerous), Poeee with his hands in his pockets, then three old men with spectacles - me, miniBob then Rod (Oscar on this forum). Look carefully you can see Louis' arm and leg - in the garage. I think he's practising balet!!!

This is Louis - going into shock.

The gearbox, which looks to be in surprisingly good condition.

And finally, the block with crank and pistons still in it.

So, with a good clean, etc, Louis engine will be back in Henry before you know it.

Erin's re-coed engine is looking good (pics of that are on her thread, think it's called 'Elle Is A Sexy Beast'). Do a search anf you'll find it.

That's it

Yeah great day! Lookin forward to the reassembly - haven't built an engine in a while now - got withdrawal symptoms!!!

Next "working bee" at my place. Gotta swap out middle son's Falcon engine - can't get enthused tho - engine points the wrong way and has too many cylinders
