Looking at doing up a 1275 engine and have found a brand new 12G1279 block and was wondering what it is from and whether it is worth using a new block over a used one. I would have thought it wouldn't matter either way unless I wanted standard 1275 size bores but is there anything else to consider? Google says it might be a Morris 1300GT???
Its about $700 so not sure which way to go.
