Compression is going to be around 10.5 : 1, maybe more if i can get away with it! :D

i thought you were talking about boosting it?
thats far too much compression to run boost.
and if you dont boost it, its going to be very cammy to make that kind of power.

I posted in your other thread about the supercharger.

I think you need to think a little more about what your doing exactly.

Big boost from little supercharger is not a good idea due to heat. High compression is not a good idea because of the exact same issue, heat. With large amounts of heat, due to the average kinetic energy of the particals in the mixture, it's much more likely to go bang, not in a good way.

For 10psi, with 10.5:1 compression running average igintion timing, I'd say you'd need to run avgas.

It is possible to run big boost on high-ish compression but involves retarding the timing a fair bit.

I reckon for boost you should get yourself an SC12 or SC14.

ok... i think people think I'm stupid... :P

i'm not running 10.5 : 1 with 10 PSI !!!! :? I'm not really a noob! I said I had the compression issue sorted :) ..and I was asking whether an AMR would be feasible as I found one cheap :D ..and I already knew the answer :( I was just checking...

Hehe, i think about a lot of setups! :) That thread wasn't really to do with my project, it was just another idea in general that I knew probably wasnt going to work, but it was worth a check! :)

An SC12 would be good, but I'm looking for an M45 preferably (if anyone has one  ) Either one will do tho :) I was considering the smaller chargers for a neater more compact setup, but they're inadequate for the boost levels I want to run :(

Go with me here!! I know its hard to keep up! :P
