How would that effect water pump life though? If at all.

I'm doing the same thing :) . So far this is my fitment on a spare donk i got, still needs more plumming and fiddling but it's mostly their. I am wondering how the charged will go with the way it's driven off the water pump, what rpm dose the waterpump spin at in relation to the engine? and yes it is an AISIN AMR300 charger.

I hope it fits in (i'm worried the bracket may foul on the bulkhead)

Not sure yet about the pasanger engin stay. The tenisioner brac is designed to fit on the thermo housing with some spaceres on each bolt between thermo house and tensioner brac. Also not sure what engine I'll put it on, 998 or 1100???

I'd say put it on the 998 as it will run out of puff... It was way to small for my 1152

Nice little setup there, I'll be really interested to see how it goes! :D

I've got an AMR300 that I'm putting on my Suzuki Sierra. Be very doubtful if it'll make 7psi reliably, let alone 10psi. Only hoping for around 5psi on Zook anyway. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it redlines at around 15k, but I could be making that up. This old grey horse, she aint what she used to be.

The guy I bought my SC off had a Zook over east running the same kind of setup, which apparently (this is hearsay) produced 20psi for a period of time before it melted the rotors.

But thinking about it, a SC surely can only produce so much boost before it runs out of puff and cant pump any more? Anyone clarify this for me?

Peace

I originally tryed using a amr300 but found them too small running at twice engine speed on a 998 it only produced about 3psi and no real power gains. Just not efficeint at these speeds
Kennomini your blow off valve won't work because as soon as the throttle is closed there isn't no boost after the SC but as a backfire valve it may work. Also running the SC off the water pump will case premature water pump bearing failure.

Heres a couple I've seen in Brisbane and localy.

I know the blue one had bearings go in the charger itself.

The white one I saw at the 'All British Day' a year or 2 or 3 ago. At the time of the blue 1's photo he snaped the drive belt 20min eairler, and the white one I don't know anything about.
Also the blow off valve should act as a presure release valve to prevent too much boost, just in case.

Yes the white one looks a million bucks but all I know/assume is it is a member of MOCQ (mini owners club Queensland).
The blue one was sold a few months after those photos minus the charger being bolted on due to shot internals.(they were taken on the run up Montvill/Malany[spelling?], the day befour the 06 'mini muster' I think, I got a realy bad memory shocking actually :? ) I also think the blue one was a 998 with 1380 head on it, specs unknown.
