Howdy Ladies and Gents,

Well, tonight is the test, nomally I get up and there is Ice all over my car. Then, I get in, and there is HEAPS of condensation inside. On the glass, visors, round the windows, etc.

So I bolted up my door properly (been on 1 nuts for ages hehe)

Anyway, I went to Supercheap and bought a car cover... Small and it was $31... cheap as!! Its not the beez kneez but its middle of their range.

Threw it on tonight, we'll see what she is like in the morning.

Anyone have any experience with covers on their Mini's... did they help?

Pete.

I have one for mine. Gets a bit of condensation under it if used for a couple of days. Ive also heard if the car is dirty the cover can scratch it. Max is always happier if hes had it on tho

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip, but I dont mind scratching it at the moment, there is alot of panel work planned for this shell... then paint... THEN ill make sure its clean before the cover goes on.

Cheers,
Peter.

Hope it lasts longer than my boat cover- it rotted in sunlight in 5 months. Chinese Quality fabric...
I went and bought a silver tarp this time!

Abso-friggin-lutely!
Come over to the geographical centre of Sydney (Parramatta) and it starts getting chilli ;)

Im out west (Kellyville) so its 0 or under 0 at night lately.

ANYWAY!!!! It worked (well, was not as cold last night) but no condensation, no foggy windows, NICE!!!!

Peter.
