That's an aweful top :? .....but at least it's half way to being a speedster  ....anyone got a spare roof sitting around?

Seriously, I don't think it looks too bad. I started with much worse on my clubman, so it's obviously nothing many of us haven't seen before. Many of us have replaced floors and quarters before.......although I suspect being a UK mini that there's more to meets the eye, rust-wise.

Probably not registered because it's too hard to get the convertable registered in Qld.

I've looked into it and boy are they picky - also needs to be complied to Aussie standards and I have heard that it's not that easy also. Pity as it's located just around the corner from our other home in Noosa.

"...needs new quarter panels..."

But it's been deseamed.... there's NO quarter panels now!!!

Id say its worth 3 grand to me..... plus 7 or 8 grand in planned mods.... 8)

I wonder how hard would it be to stamp some 1963 VIN digits onto that shell??

compliance....compliance...compliance....

Imported as a vert..... I still reckon it needs massive work to get complied and registered....and I am not talking about rust repairs and replacing hoods....

Or.....it could be registered tomorrow in SA....
