yeee haaaa after much drama the mini is finally regersted (with the A series)
and on the road . I had major drama's because I did'nt have proof of previous rego. because I bought the car with out rego with no rego papers or rego sticker , Vic roads would'nt rego the car. After much red tape which has held me up for about a month, the car was rego'd yesterday(after a fierce argument) So if anyone buys a car get (and keep) as much info as you can.

What a crock. All VicRoads needs to register a car (regardless of its prior registration) is engine and chassis numbers. If the car has a current RWC (which will require an engineer's cert for any substantial mods) then they can't refuse to register it on the basis that you don't have the old rego details.

Hell, they'll have the chassis and engine numbers in the system either way. You've been bureaucratized.

Did they take the other ball as part payment (so that's what bureaucratized means!)??
