Gentlemen, Please help me with a few tricks of the trade, I have a rover cooper and the headlight selector arm ( Switch) on the steering column, has broken and gone all limp. Steve from Brickwork is sending me over a replacement. Is it just straight forward to swap it over or are there a few traps I have to look out for. Is there a certain procedure for doing the change over...Hopefully it will be straight forward but I have 2 left thumbs and I love these bloody little cars.

Although designed by geniuses, the mini was mostly put together by two thumbed people. The changeover is simply a matter of undoing the shroud screws (unless rover minis are dramatically different) and then undoing two screws and then pulling apart the electrical connector.

Assembly is a reverse procedure. You can do it :D
