hey all.

im starting to find al teh bits and pieces to put my windup doors backtogether on madmk1.

theyre just your normal roundie windup doors.

now i need to start a detailed list of everything that i need to find/ buy.

is there kits available?

what stuff has been reprodudeced?

i have the doors painted,i have the 1/4 vent windows, and their frames . i have all new rubbers and felts.

i have the main sliding windows. all which have been tinted.

does anyone have any tips and tricks that might help me/ my painter.

i am really "scared" about putting these backtogether. its the only thing on the whole car that has really worried .

i was gonna pay someone, but my painter said he would give it a go.

cheers jamie :?

You know what you get for nothing?............................................................. When one wants something one has to pay for it. No point in bagging the seller. We have to learn that Mini stuff is becoming costly for some.

If you can get a look at a complete door try to follow the set up and copy it. Remember it all came out so it WILL go back in, just be careful :D .

$500 bucks for a full set of rubbers is cheap - my mate did an Alfa GTV up and paid about $250 just for the windscreen rubber! the whole car was going to cost him about $2500 so he tried to reuse his old rubbers ad now it leaks. New rubbers are the best way ro protect against water.
