finally im getting around to rebuilding my 1960 richard longman built race car that raced against alec pooles escort in barbados in 1963 the body has done 990miles since brand new cos all the guages are still in it and it has now been stripped ready to get started on and the motor that produced 106bhp will be going ito it to serve as a donk for a while till $'s can put a better one in.

planning on keeping it under 400kg so should be good for hill climbs and drag racing only cos it cant track race due to the fibreglass roof (stupid law trust me)

yes richard raced it in the 1961 hill climb series aloin in scotland.
its got quite along history but im still piecing it together and trying to find out more, due to it being an original lightweight with fibreglass roof and everything has been cut and taken all the wieght out of it.
she wieghs nothing now but im still getting the colours etc and other pics of it as it has changed colours many times before i got it.

What was the original rego or distinguishing features of it and I'll have a look through my stuff over the next few days , I have folders of 60's and 70's magazine photocopies etc from an ageing mini enthusiast who had a cleanout ...
