BMw cheapskates, 1 shell only....... US and Euro LHD call the shots!!

I couldn't agree more Graham! What a ridiculous idea. Ooooozes of cheapness.... however, I think it's a great looking car and very unique.

I don't see any badging that bares the name Clubman. Have BMW even confirmed it will be called a Clubman?

It's going to be called the Clubman as they've already started the branding exercise. Check it out 8)

The name Clubman might not be a bad thing.

It may finally see the value of the original clubbies rise to the excitment of their owners.

How do these new "small" BMWs compair to the size of a mini? The 1st MINIs were bigger in all respects size wise, than they brought out the 2nd vecsion, bigger again and to make a van it'll have to be bigger yet again, at least in length!
If anyone has L, W, H of all mini, MINI, MINI(Mk2), and the "CLUBMAN" please post them :?

Ahem , please remember the rule about no sledging any particular model (roundie , clubbie or Bini) on ausmini ... You can discuss your views on the new version but not by making derogitory remarks about other models .

"Three models - Cooper D, Cooper and Cooper S - will be offered"

Seems like the bastardisation is now complete - a Coopered Clubman. :(

it doesn't appear as if it was meant to be styled on the original clubman, though no doubt thats where they got the name from.
more just a different name for MINI wagon (clubman), as far as the bini goes, i think its cool. wagons are ace and theres probably a few who wouldn't buy a bini originally because of its storage space.

Yes, Diesel Cooper  but not for Aus, UK and Euro only I think?

Also, I have just read an article about the prices of "MINI" in the US, from a first read, they seem to be massively cheaper over there ?

I queried tha myself a while ago Graham , apparently they have a couple of super cheap models available for other countries that are competitive with Corolla's and Lancers but BMW only wanted the up market options for Australia ....
