In my first mini (green with single white stripe down front, tell me if you see it), I was racing a ford telstar, in my mini, around the bluff at three in the morning. My lights werent working so I was following the car in fronts tail lights. I saw him fish tail, but he actually had bounced of a curb. I hit that curb with my front wheel at about 90 kph and the front right wheel folded straight under the car, and we slid for a fair way. No body damage thankfully, but there is still a huge chunk out of the cement curb where I hit and that was about six years ago. :)

P.S seems funny and very stupid now

I also tried towing my dads boat on my mini (16ft), with that same mini cause it had a tow bar. It had a worked 1100 engine. I made it from the caravan park (we were on holidays) to the boat ramp, but it all went down hill from there. Literally, reversing down the ramp the car just kept going until half the mini was in the water. I had to be towed out, from towing the boat. It looked hell funny though with that boat being towed behind the mini. I didnt have my camera then, but I wish I did! My suspension was never the same again :D

Im pretty sure everyones made the most of the mini's narrow width (and height), at one stage or another......

I can remember barely sqeezing my first mini between the end of a boom gate and a wall, after I couldnt get my ticket to work

In the late 60's my mate and I were in the CMF (Army reserves) Coming home late one night from a parade and in uniform we pulled up at the lights and there were a couple of bikies standing outside a pub. For some inexplicable reason my mate opened the window and in an efeminate voice said "Hello boys how about a kiss" I pissed myself laughing and stalled the car. The "Boys" didn't take too kindly to the comment and started heading toward us and I trired to get started and off but kangaroo hopped across the intersection with the Boys in hot pursute and me laughing and my mate starting to panic thinking we wouldn't get away.
