Using an adapter has not caused me an issue yet. But as above I was wrong, I remeber now, I had to put the supercharger pulley on my car using that, which was a pain, due to the adapter, but it all jsut fit in and was good, would be easier on a Clubby.

Snap on sell the 1/2 drive 1-5/16
Bit dearer than a supercrap place, but hey....probably about the same as buying a 3/4 el cheapo socket and an adaptor! (Think around the $60 mark)

go see the tool man, he sells that socket with a 1/2 inch drive. Unlike the stupid 1 3/4 inch ball joint socket. I just welded a smaller socket on there :D

yep i bit the bullet and went to the tool man and got one thats 1/2" drive for $35, they were out of the 3/4" one, and had an impact one for $24 but it was 3/4" drive

and should my discs be discoloured like that?
they're smooth as with no grooves or anything.

I know about --> <-- this much about metallurgy, but that almost looks like they're heat affected..

i think they just cant compete with the power,
and i dont think blackstuffs hold up well when hot.
