At the Angus & Robertson clearance centre, bottom level of Southland. Near Homeart.

Specifically "Spotlight on Mini Minor Downunder: Including Mini Cooper and Moke - The Guide for Owners, Buyers and Enthusiasts."

Mum brought it home for me today. I haven't read it and don't know what it's like but it claims to cover all Australian models from 1961-1978 with roadtests and.

Apparently there were a few there if people wanna grab one. 8)

hiya guys - went there this morning and the clearance part is GONE!
Checked with the bloke in the normal Angus shop, and he reckons there are none of that book left in victoria in stores.
He said the clearance thing is seperate to the normal store and travels around shopping centres, but he couldn't tell me when the next one would be.
Sorry - i did try! :(
If i ever come across any that cheap again, i will buy plenty and let you know.

cheers! jon

no worries - Southland is on the way to work for me.

I remember seeing those clearance stalls at most shopping centres from time to time, but have never looked much in the past.
I will in the future!

cheers!

The man was called Pedr Davis and was a great motoring writer and safety activist in his time...for those that don't know, these books are packed with Mini specs and reprints of magazine Mini road tests.

I've seen them at Angus & Robertson clearance recently at Elizebeth shopping, too bad I already have it, so I bought my mate the Ford Escort version, which cost $7.99 too!

So try westfield shopping centres and such, if you see a clearance area go directly to the car section and grab your copy!
