i had a horrible dream the other night that i was living in suburbia and when i got home form work my mini was jacked and stripped and there was nothing i could do...

bad dream, woke me up in the middle of the night, got the torch, checked on my baby 'Little Johnny' (my mini), then went back to bed

anyone else have these nightmares?

Yeah actually I have had 'em...

Only it came true once... Got my old '74 S stolen from a carpark and found it about two kilometers away pummeled against a tree...

Managed to salvage some parts but other than that I only had third party insurance at the time... I don't see why you would do that - if you wanna steal something, steal something shitty like a VN commo or something.. At least they are easy to break into (I had an immobiliser - don't know how they got away with it)...
