Well we have two Rover Coopers. One 1993 and 1994. You know where to find us. I know most of the people in the VMCI who have Rovers as well. Our next club run will be listed at www.mini.org.au on the calendar page.

Hope to catch up with you all soon. Problem could be where you are living. Doesn't say in your profile.

We are of course based in Melbourne.

Sorry Mrcooms but I tend to agee with skssgn

The one thing that really stands out about ausmini is the acceptance of all mini dirivatives and models - sure we poke fun at the Bini's accasionally but I also have to endure a ribbing about my belovered clubbie as well.

Setting up an exclusive "clicky group" for Rover owners is the same as telling the rest of us to "bugger off, your not good enough". This is not in the spirit of ausmini.com and I would suggest that it be better to start up your own corner of the net to play in. If you want to hang around here and chat to the wider mini community that's fine, but let's not get into the "only if your good enough" wars here on ausmini.

Cheers Dat

ps - Good luck for 2005 to all mini owners [Rover owners included]

i didnt bring up the idea of a group thing. im with u whodat, accept all minis for what they are. when i first logged on to the forums i was anti clubman, but now especially after seeing the progress of JAM i am now quite fond of them.

I think all that minimonaro meant was that we join up for a chat and talk about the rover minis. well thats how i think it should be.

happy new year to all BMC, leyland, rover, innocenti and BMW manufactured mini owners, may your mini days be fun safe and full of big wide grins

I was just dicking around yesterday, sorry for causing conflict - it's nice to have a circle of friends to bounce ideas off... and keep it in the family

I have a few rover minis(importer)
I have a couple of my own.... one retro fitted with early grille and lights,
and i find it hard to realise the difference between this and a morris mini as they drive down the road. If it wasn't for rover minis and the parts supply there would be hardly any minis left around the world

Im wasnt trying to start a wall between us just like to register all the Rovers keep a register on them to help those in the furture pitty some one didnt do it with the Mini's in the 60's. It just helps getting to know who has a rover so can ask for help or help can be asked from others on the cars!!!!!!!!!!!
No reason to get your nickers in a twist I won other models too, I much prefer the classic Mini and would rather spend more moneyon more Classic's then buying a BINNI, so please dont feel I am against the group or any particluar model

I love AUSMIN in knowing that we have a site where we can come and join with other Mini owners, I am really up for a weekend meet and camping weekend

Jan you know who I am and where I'm I speak to John a few times on Mini's Down Under site, and we have spoke in the past, I am set in the Hunter, so really flexiable for meets and shows

Thanks for getting back to meall you Rover Owners I will like to here more form you all, what models you have any UK Mini's on here???
\
Thanks Minimonaro
