Original numbers are vague , I haven't seen the story Watto did in "The Mini Experience" to see if he was able to find out more but it was believed to bewell less than 100 . I've only been able to find 6 that were genuine with enough history to prove it now though , most of them got thrashed on the track and in speedways as they were legally able to use the twin carbs that other mini's weren't .
