I have to work otherwise I'd go and help wave the flags etc. Love to be out there. Pretty sure its a regularity so its against your own nominated time. I think it fully booked now, have to check with the club. They always need more helpers so if you want to go and watch and get even closer, volunteer.

Yep, knew what you meant but I was meaning that I might not be able to write an exciting story to go with pics...

So I had better get some good pics then...

I wish... I might be doing 150k/h down the straight and get passed by the big boys at 250+k/h...

Hope they see me ok as I don't want to be a speed bump for one of them... :?

:D we wont have to worry to much about the big boys this year Smokie. Apparently (just spoken to one of my team mates) as the has decreased the minimum time around the track from 1min 50 to 2min or 2min 10sec so more average (so to speak) club people (various car clubs) can and want to participate and the directors dont have to put up with the "racer boys" in the larger full on race cars whinging about us in the smaller/slower cars "getting in the way" .
:D Anyways should be a fun weekend!! :D hope lots of ausmini people come down for a bit of a look!!?? 8)

I knew the times were no faster than 1.55 and no slower than 2.53 but have not heard if they have been changed to 2.00 BALLISTIC..

But whatever way it is, I am out there to have fun... UP the Mini.
