Well to improve performance you either increase power or reduce weight , a Fang like mine in basic street trim is between 380 and 400 kg , almost 200 kg's lighter than a mini . Put a worked 1275 in it and you've got a power to weight ratio heading towards a motorbike . But a 4efte in and you'd be in ferrari territory 8) Imagine pulling up next to someone at the lights in what looks like a classic 50/60's tiny roadster and then dissapearing into the distance ....

The original Lotus 7 had an A-series and they go like stink. 0-60mph in about 8 seconds

I ment if it had a modern, high power engine in it. And I don't know what scout troup you were in but why would the scout be on his grandmother :evil:

My brother used to have the book High Speed, Low Cost, I must see if he still has it. I'm pretty sure it came with plans as well.
