I don't think i'll have a problem with that, how many times have you gotten the front wheel off the ground? ;)

Let me know about the solution to the wastegate creep - from what Peanuts and Intercool said off the Austarlet forum is that they had no problems with wastegate creep. Funny thing is, they were both running about 16 psi, dont figure!!

I got a new wastegate actuator (12psi) so it will hold a minimum 12psi and i can take it up to 18ish without creep 8)

Dan did the same - new actuator is about $130 :)

hehe yea yea i'm stoked it's home and running well :)

Sitting nice and snug in my garage - at least i get to look at it every morning

Got a tune done on the new motor - made 158.8HP atw on 12-14psi with the A/F ratio around 11.4:1 and timing retarded slightly off max power. My tuner said to put a couple of thousand km's on the motor and we'll come back, lean it out to around 12.5 and advance the timing along with some more fine tuning. So there is a bit more power in it yet. Also will up the boost to around 17psi and see how we go at some stage.

The slicks are sapping a bit of power on the dyno and they were also slipping slightly on boost.

Time's down the quarter should tell the full story ;)

The LSD is great to drive and it's quite a beast! It's quick even in 5th gear at 100km/h

It'll be a couple of months until i register it though due to lack of funds and time to drive it at the moment :(

Josh,

U running yoko A048's? They must be helping with the traction issue a fair bit?

I am seriously thinking about putting a set of these on for my mini when it is done.. I really want to put everything I got down on the ground.. even if it means loosing a few hp due to their sticky nature.. otherwise whats the point

any other tyres that can be considered for 13" rims?.. which grip good?

cheers

Yea i'm using A048R's and are a good idea to get a tire like this for the massive amounts of power we're trying to get to the ground through the front wheels :) I havn't had a chance to really test them yet, but i will let you know when i do :)

You don't lose power to the ground, they just affect dyno readings because of their resistance. It's still making the same power it would with any other tires, it's just that the dyno sheet would read slightly higher with hard street tires.

SP9000's are a good choice for 13's street use if you can get your hands on them. Also A539's are good but they are even rarer.

Thanks guys it's been a long wait but worth it :)

Yeh craig..2010 when GR finishes your motor :P
