But is a Moke a higher risk than any other 'convertible' sports car??

I could get into an MG or Sprite as easily as I could a Moke :?

The answer to that question is YES cause it doesnt even have a door and try do hard corner without a seatbelt, either the driver or passanger will slide out :) thats why its high risk    :lol

The best part when they(specially young people) ask you over the phone what type or how many door does it has?

I have insurance for both my cars through two places.

The one I care about is with shannons. The one of less valuue, I am trialing with Ryno... they dont handle their own claims, and to me that is a big worry, when you pay your premium, your paying for the claims service.

Ill stick with shannons next year I think...

Shannons were great to deal with. No problem with the agreed value ($10 000) and a good premium.

I'm just happy my Moke is on Club plates and I get to use it. Our S is next on the road - I'll stick with Shannons for that one as well.

:P

Since last year we have both our going Minis with Shannons, also the AU Ford and the house & contents too.
We saved $200 on house and contents and got lots more extras cover than we had with NRMA.
Saved over $100 on the Ford.
All we have with NRMA now is the boat- Shannons don't do those and it's too old for Club Marine.

Claims process is an unknown.

I've just changed everything over to Shannons too. To insure all my cars with Shannons is only slightly more than insuring just the Jackaroo with RACV!

I also moved the house and contents and the investment property. Overall I'm saving about $100 a month.

I'm with Suncorp historic insurance, it has to be over a certain age (25 years I think) to qualify but its heaps cheaper the last time I looked. I have had 2 minis with them but I have never had to claim. Does anyone else have this insurance.
