Ignition timing?

I think a bog stock 12Y/TaH motor would have had a static timing figure around 6 or 7 degrees advance, maybe someone else has access to a manual for the 1100s?

In any case, the advance curve can be altered in the dizzy, is it original? Vacuum advance working? What total advance does it give?

Best to check these things out.

On a modified motor, you decide what you need, and try to achieve it by getting the dizzy modded to suit.
