Who knows any thing about rollsroice casting cranks for mk 1 cooper s motors ?

1. Cooper S cranks and ALL other Mini cranks are FORGED steel, NOT cast.
2. Mk1 Cooper S cranks are EN40B steel, forged, machined, ground, then nitrided.
3. I have heard Rolls Royce did the nitriding, I dunno if it's urban myth, or not. :wink:
