Ok well there must be something going funky since the forum software update (to fix an exploit, I would of prefered to not fix something that wasn't broke, if ya get me).
I've enabled remote avatars, which means instead of ausmini hosting your avatar, you can have it linked from somewhere else.
To upload your avatar, either use your own webspace, or go here and upload.

Now if you upload to that above link, make sure you rename your avatar file to something with your user name in it. Having people try to upload a file "avatar.gif" might cause a few problems, hehe. For eg, I called mine "poeee_av.gif".
You will see the "Link to off-site Avatar:" bit at the bottom of the edit profile page. There will still be the old method there, but this will more than likely not work.
This is a temp fix for the problem, but is just as good as the old way.
