For their age, my seats are immac! The trimmer was amazed. It all comes back to the fact thay JAM was a 1 owner car, and treated very softly throughout its life.

Duc, the brown doesn't do it for me. Chris Z got his seats done in the same brown trim and they look amazing, but black is my thing.....

I am only days away from putting my loom in and getting this motor sorted out. Could be driving in a month maybe..... :?

Seats have been stripped. I had to weld up both seat bases, as some heavy dude had split the metal where the diaphram connects to the frame.

I also painted the metal frames, even though they will never be seen until the next retrim.....

Estimated completion date is 2 weeks from today, and will be around $800. Not bad for seats done in original fabric by a former BMC / Leyland trimmer

hmmmm....thats interesting what you say about the foam. That is what they were like under the covers. I think they were retrimmed in the original brown at some stage in their life, as the support straps on the backs had been replaced, as well as the foam.

Dr Trim, stick to Morrises... JAM, that is a clubby seat 100%.
Exactly the same as my seats were when i got mine retrimmed... and 800 is a fair price... i payed 650 for both of mine in "beige" vinyl. and matching piping.
