I really think you should take some photos down to your local Shannons office and see what they think. You'll usually end up with some other Mini nutter on the other end of the line

As Spaceboy said, if the accident/damage had nothing to do with the offending parts, they will still cover you.

Surely it is worth a phone call?

I found shasnnons to be the cheapest for both my Cooper S ($150 cheaper) and Leyland mini ($100 cheaper)

plus they support classic car events :D

Shannons are cool with it. The dude i was dealing with actually owned the Hot 4's magazine that my car was featured in. They are ok with my mods as long as they dont contribute to an accident. But i just dont want to spend money for insurance when the car never sees the road. Sure the laid up package suits me. But its still money for nothing to me...

Something wrong there? Mine is agreed value of $25,000. $191 per year for full comprehensive. But being on club rego cuts the cost a bit. Keep in mind also, when i first signed up with Shannons with my XR6T, i had no insurance history what so ever!!!

I will give Shannons a ring once I get the Rover.

I'll probably try and pay by the month if they do that ?

How strict are they on the over 25 only thing ? Im only 4 months away from being 25.
