Give Jono Herrman a call at Clyde Hardchrome 96374592

They specialise in the hard chrome plating that is used on hydraulic cylinders. They occasionally do stuff for motorcycle forks and the like. It is not quite as bling as the decorative chroming, but if you want something that is more chip resistant it could be the way to go.

A lot goes to Albury-Wodonga too.

I have used Chrome4cruizin in Girraween, but he is just an agent for an Albury based chromer, but his prices are reasonable and he will take piece meal stuff. He tends to be fairly slow though, so if you can afford the wait.

The other place I used for a bumper bar and some other parts is Astor Metal finishes at Villawood, just off Woodville rd. They have an excellent reputation and are used a lot by the "concours" brigade - like Jags, ferrari's and the like.

Is this Chrome Factory in Caringbah? What bits are you going to get done?

A couple of months ago I asked them how much to get a rocker cover done. They said roughly $150.

Not sure to what level I have to prepare the cover. I was just getting a rough idea on price.

I am curious to what you find out next week.

 Would it be cheaper for a couple of us to get a few bits done? May save a buck!

Are you going to the MCC meeting tonight? I was thinking of going along tonight. First time.

I've heard great things about the albury wodonga mob - apparently you can request "concours quality" chrome from them.....

dunno if I've seen the actual result or not, but I have seen some really poo chrome compared to really great chrome
