sorry to dissappoint you all, but i was driving like a manual up the hills :)

the problem was that it wasn't one long straight rd, it was a series of T junctions, on the side of a hill where i was on the wrong end of the give way laws.

So i had to take the hills from a standing start, and IN FIRST i was flat out at about 20ks...

but thanks fo' all the compliments...

Because its cheaper.. where's the challenge in that!!

When i was driving a datto, I built an A series to keep up with the L series...

Then i turned to the mini, and built a 998 to keep up with a 1275... I love a challenge!! :P

edit: as i sounded like a tosser!

- Own (or any D3R1V4T1V3)
- Race
- My mate

no way. try a 1275 with an automatic cam on a manuel box. The torque of that baby is sooo sweet. It's like an auto as you hardly ever need to change gears!!! :)

yeah, sorry bout that... did sound like a bit of a tosser there
Didn't mean it to sound like "i go around racin me homies for pink slips coz my fully sik 998 iz da shiznit". I should have worded that better...

It was all said tongue in cheek guys- maybe i should have put :P in...
And as for a challenge- doesn't everyone root for the underdog- the lil 998

hehe... at least everyone here is pretty quick to keep u honest and not talk crap

Cush, did the sc12'ed car drive well? Did you notice any dead spots if you put your foot down at low revs? How did you find the tune overall?

I'm asking as in mine I have to squeeze on the throttle, rather than just flatten it or it seems to die. Just wondering if this was a common trait in these set ups.
