has any one got any tips beside 10mm high speed metal drill bit, patience and a bad ass drill.
or has anyone done it, how long did it take u.
cause i think its going to be a fun day to do one and a fun day tomorrow to do the other..

Yeah I've done this a couple of times. Use a cutting compound of some description or oil at the very least as the cast iron will melt the outer edges of your drill bit. I've also done this with a 3/8th die grinder burr.

Simple job with the right tools, so simple you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

The top arms are cast steel, not cast iron.
tip- use a cobalt HSS drill, some cutting oil, and drill slow. :wink:
