Spaceboy, can't you see that the early style black gearknob is a different shape to the later one, hence there different to a normal knob.

yeah but i've never seen a black one except for in that picture, but i've seen a few brown ones, and also it would be better to make stickers to fit the brown ones, seeing as how they're easy to get being the same as a normal gearknob.

My GT came with the brown GT g/knob and my car is a VERY early one.

I've never been confident that the black ones were from a Clubby GT. Apparently some MGB GT's had similar g/knobs. Maybe the black ones are from them.

that makes sense, i thought it odd that there should be two types considering they only sold the GT for a couple of years..
but then again being BLMC :lol:

One thing we can agree on is that you won't find any old ordinary knob in a GT...
