wonder how they're getting their hands on them - if they're new old stock or japan is really still making them.

how much would shipping be..group buy? ;)

I saw pictures of shitloads of them in the Uk, in a Miniworld 2 months ago. And they haven't been here for quite sometime.

I reckon they are still being made or is mass supply overseas.

I'd by US though.

most popular selling tyre in the UK for minis with 12"wheels. The tread pattern give good wear characteristics providing good wet and dry weather grip

Yeah I'm starting to think so.

I've known them to exist in the UK since them 'went out of production'. I always thought it was a temporary thing but appears not.

It appears that it's all lies.... :(

It's a bit like their `A008s are not being made now' except we can still get those here. 8)

Its simple really, not enough volume in the Australian market for Yokohama to make the bucks they need to make for a company of their size, so they're not importing them.

It is however a great opportunity for an Oz mini business to parallel (not really) import....

I would not be surprised at all if Yokohama had ceased manufacture of these tyres, and the availability is based on stocks held. There can't be many cars other than Mini's which run these tyres, and there are a dwindling number of Mini's needing them. It's gonna happen eventually, maybe it already has..

The scuttlebutt I heard was that Yokohama was facing financial difficulties in Japan, so a consolidation of product lines would seem to make sense. They certainly had supply chain problems earlier in the year...

I hope yokohama never stop making 10" tyres! I love A032R's (albiet 10" :) ) way too much (and not in a sexual way either :P )

If I ever have the opportunity to go for a ride in a car with a539's I'm deffinitely going to go. Even just the discussions on here make them seem like they are the only tyre to get!
