I think very early 850s here got that too? I had a `61 but I'm not certain now.

Didn't cooper s rims have a type of red on the rear of rim? What was that? I was talking to the mini king one day and he said alot of people were unaware of that...Did they or didn't they?

That's correct. They were only painted silver on the outside. The inside red colour looks as though it was some sort of red oxide primer colour.
