Hi,
We are heading up to Summernats to have a look as we have never been before. Kindly a Mini fanatic in ACT is putting us up and if anyone sees us give us a beep. We will most probably be driving up in both our Red Rover Coopers. Hopefully catch up with some ausmini members while we are up there.

Been there once about 12 years ago. Minis are usually well received in the car park :D

Ignore the idiots who inevitably ask you to bare your anatomy, unless you care to oblige

The burnouts are great, just make sure you slip slop slap as there is no shade out there.

have fun
michael

Hi Jan,

I have sent an email to a bunch of ACT Mini CC members...most of em are on Ausmini also re maybe meeting up with the Rover Coopers.....hmmmm, I see a convoy forming out at Hall to guide you down to Waynes place (emails sent with local contact details for you to use if and when needed).

BTW have you been to Cranberry before??

Sounds like a good meeting. Haven't been there before myself and John has only been there for work quite a while ago.

Looking forward to catching up when we finally get there.

Me too....will keep in touch...if you are unfamiliar with Cranberry then it might be a good idea for me and Wayne to put our Welcome to Canberra uniforms on and do our NRMA Pilot impressions

Had a call from 9YaTaH but unfortunatly I am working the night evening shift at the station this weekend (1pm-10pm) but tonight after work we hope to go cruising in the Mini. So if you see a black rover cooper with white stripes out between 11pm & 2am Say Hi.
Regards Paul

Mutant Mini (Jan and John) attended a Spit Roast BBQ even-ing put on by ACT Mini CC pres (Wayne) and kindly donated by Pat "the Van Man" the Butcher :D

About 9 Minis incuding two brave souls in a Moke (gets cold here at night! ) all had a terrific time with our VIC guests. Much Mini chat occurred, especially in Waynes Garage....why did he go over us all with a Metal Detector when we were leaving???

Safe trip home to Jan and John......
