anyone seen this or know anything about it? Not many numbers available I'm keen to find out but don't want to ask myself if you get my meaning (those that know me)

There doesn't seem to be any real secrecracy with this one. The vendor seems fairly open and seems to have a history that he could could produce if asked.

I do know where you are coming from but my gut says this is not one you need become aware of - if you get my drift.

But i have no personal or particular knowledge or familiarisation with this mini.

just go and kick the tyres... no need to tell them you're not really in the marker, if it does turn out to be what you think it is, walk away, and make a phone call

Yes that is good advice of Simon's

It will put your mind at rest on several issues. Like Simon said, if does stir feelings then walk away and make a phone call. Do not become involved with the owner under any circumstances because that will only make it harder in the long run.

Definitely go and take a look.. if only to put your mind at ease. Pretty much exactly what Simon said :)

The 9th last one was sold (previous owner lived in Marrickville) around 2 years ago and hopefully is still going strong. Hi-Ho silver and a bit rough around the edges, I regret not taking a picture of the plate (obviously your car's younger brother :)). 8)

This one has been on the market for quite some time and it has come down $500 bucks since.
No harm in checking it out, even for peace of mind, like Mike said it seems pretty genuine.
I feel your pain too, that hopefully and just maybe it will show up.
