Put some pics of Puddles up in the members gallery when you get a chance too , most members here are keen to see what others are doing with their cars .

Mini's in Adelaide...oh oh oooooh my hand is up!

I think there's a show in February too, if the timing is right.

Just did a quick search Feb 10th is All British day at Uraidla oval next year, which is no specifically a Mini show but a good turn out of Mini's go.

Otherwise there's a Mini show in mid March I think, but I imagine you'd be gone by then.

We should organise a cruise and meet. :)

Hi I am Baz
I joined this list about 2 years ago and lurked on and off. I have a 68 cooper S that was my 1st car in 1982, unfortunately written off in about 1985, rebodied in 1987 and taken off the road and stored since 1990 coz kids & mortgage arrived (oh and also smashed into whilst stored in the garage by the now ex wife in the late 90s)
I have also got a MKII cooper S that was my late fathers car which I have just taken the motor out of to freshen it up so my son can learn to drive in it in 12 months time.
I am amazed at the amount of info and parts available for minis now, I dont think parts were so widely available 20 years ago.
Oh just remembered my dad had an original 970 cooper S (Austin) he brought over from England with him in 1971 and subsequently owned 3 more 1275 S's after that

Wow norton,

That's quite a bit of family history with mini's (reminds me of my family :) )

Please feel free to soak up / spread your knowledge on the forum. If there is anything I can do to help let me know.

Cheers, Nick

hello all

I'm sam and i've finally found my way on the forum after a kindly gentleman ran over to me at the traffic lights and gave me the website address on a piece of paper! Thank you... you know who you are!

I have been with my 78 clubbie for 12 sunshine-filled years now and next year we are departing these shores together to move to Scotland (I'm going to need the sunshine there!!!)... anyone know anything about shipping to the uk?

I guess I should post a seperate topic for that?
(first time in a forum!)
