I have just had the spare bonnet delivered by Steve on the weekend, I am going to have it rubbed back and undercoated in primer, I have had a very generous offer by a young Mini chick, who goes by the name of "trixitrine" on this chat site.

She has a business that does Airbrush paintings, and we all know just how awsome it would be to have that ability, anyway, she has offered to detail my spare bonnet for future car shows, and I was just after some ideas on what whould look good on the bonnet of my little red terror. :P

So remember its only for the odd car show and not for everyday driving, that would be suicidal for the car.

SO IDEAS PLEASE....

I thought of that but I think a cartoon would detract from the sex appeal of the mini,

I was thinking of doing a nude painting of the wife laying across the front,

but I would have trouble fitting a Ford Galaxy bonnet to the front of a mini.

crap am I lucky the wife is computer illeterate and cant even turn it on.

How about a modernised Morris badge , a big bull head on with smoke out it's nostrals , water in front and some crossed flags (union jack and Australian or Australian and checkered) behind it ?

Nahh , was trying to think of something appropriate and it was the best I could come up with (apart from a flaming mini logo ...) .

Its clever, but would only look good from the angle of the eye that painted it.
You may as well bleach it till it goes clear, or make another bonnet from acrylic.
:D
