Yes, just pop into your local Morris dealership and buy one. This question sounds very familiar....

has this question been asked like a week ago?? :?

answer: there are places in the UK advertised in 'Miniworld' and some of the other mags, that advertise engine kits:
1293cc Full kit (carb) Stage 2: 825 pounds

to get it over from the UK wouldnt exactly be very affordable though, you might just be better off buying a used 1275 and rebuild it

Those engine kits are not new engines they are just rebuilds.
MUCH cheaper to rebuild one here.... there are still used 1275s about if you don't have one to do up.
Check with miniimports on this forum.

I bought a new head from UK recently, wasn't from a dealership, just from someones old stock. They also offered me a new block at the same time but I couldn't justify the freight.

hi there we have a brand new twin point engine at the moment with no accessories, but i think we will keep this for a rainy day (and use it for a bmw twinnky head conversion)as they dont exactly grow on trees (you would be looking at $4000).As everybody else has said on the forum just buy a motor and rebuild it here as it will be cheaper than importing one yourself.
cheers josh
ps our next shipment of motors is here and will hopefully be ready for wattoes big day out, turbos,mg metros, aplus, aseries,s brakes, mambas etc
