 Post subject: remove a bearing?

how do you remove the bearing on the idler shaft that comes out of the gearbox???? i have tried to remove it but no luck i removed the little clip and it wont come off....any help is appreciated thanks guys......

If you mean the outrigger bearing on the bottom shaft (which is 1st motion shaft, not idler gear) I use a puller, but there are other ways.
They are not that tight- gentle application of a BFH to a cold chisel on alternate sides will get it off.
Note the new outrigger bearing comes with an outer ring- if it's the latest bearing (with a warning paper inside the box) you MUST change the outer ring too, as the manufacturer has changed its inside diameter. The bearing will NOT fit into the old ring like they always used to.
